The Dehesa Road at Harbison Canyon Road Intersection Improvements Project entailed roadway widening and traffic signal improvement in the Dehesa area of San Diego County. As a public- private-partnership between the County and the Sycuan Tribal Development Corporation, the project provided safe and reliable transportation to residents and patrons of the Sycuan Casino and Resort and consisted of upgrading the existing 3-way stop to a signalized traffic intersection, roadway widening improvements providing turn lanes into the newly constructed gas station and market, construction of new bike lanes, pedestrian sidewalks, and installation of bioretention basins.

RE Services staff member, Vinay Reddy served as the Resident Engineer for this project and despite project challenges including added project timeline, weather delays and traffic control, the project was able to substantially complete on time, under budget and without incident.

This project was completed in 2019 with a total project cost of $1.8 million.
