Niched in the heart of the innovation city of Irvine, the reimagined landscape for Lakeside Middle School promotes an artistic and scientific character throughout the renovated portion of campus. Our team curated a selective water-wise planting palette of California natives that introduces a new aesthetic that is conscious of our local flora and water resources to support the growth and sustainability within the heart of campus.

The design converts a network of concrete pathways into an organized approach to the campus and adds a beautiful, landscaped ecosystem of California native gardens, transforming the renovated site into an immersive learning experience, and expansion of classrooms into the outdoors.
