RE Services is currently servicing a Countywide Asphalt Concrete Overlay Project in various inland communities of San Diego by providing Resident Engineering services. The project traverses approximately 29 miles of road repairs, striping, and delineation. The RE team is responsible for preparing quantity sheets, negotiating contractor payments, review of RFI’s and submittals, and fostering positive public relations with residents.

Keys to our success with these types of projects that typically don’t include plans and only special provisions and quantities is our physical touring of the project to determine limits and assessing road conditions verify if quantities need to be adjusted and ultimately communicated to the contractor and inspection staff.

The project is currently ongoing and has a total project cost of $9 million.
